Veterinary Practice Interior Design

Katharine has been involved in the design field for over 17 years. She enjoys all facets of Interior Design but is especially interested in the creation of a strong design concept and the development of the palette utilizing color and texture, lighting and contrast. For example, she recently used a photorealistic wall covering of fur in the exam rooms of a veterinary clinic and a materials scheme of Earth elements (fire, water, mineral and wood) for a retrofit office project in a former Ice House. She has an enthusiasm for new materials and for using classic materials in contemporary ways.

Katharine has experience in a wide variety of project types: corporate; residential; condominium; veterinary; cinema and tenant improvement to name a few. Her expertise includes: space planning; programming; finish selection and specification; project management; contract administration and fixture and furniture specification.

What Grads Are Saying...
“I loved collecting my animal art collection. I never knew it would be possible to create such a lovely home for it in my practice. Clients absolutely love my hospital. And it has grown from $225K to $1.5M and is still growing at over 20% per year..”
