Dr. Guenther graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970 and later owned and managed Biltmore Veterinary Associates in Asheville, NC for 25 years. He completed a dual degree (MBA/MHA) program through Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC in 1999 and also became the Administrator of REACH (Regional Emergency Animal Hospital). At the same time he joined Brakke Consulting, Inc. of Dallas, Texas as part of the practice management team.
Through his experiences in the development of REACH Hospital, Dr. Guenther understands mergers, acquisitions, and the marketing of a new practice. His knowledge of equine, small animal, and emergency medicine has allowed him to better understand the art of practice and the science of management. As administrator of a 24/7, he understands and utilizes the principles needed to create a successful practice in the new millennium.
